You now have until Tuesday, 5th April to submit your entries to the Skills Brilliance Award sponsored by CCB Training. The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Growth and Skills Hub have announced the extension to allow businesses more time enter the newest category for the Cornwall Business Awards.
Kirsty Miles-Musgrave, Operations Manager for the Growth and Skills Hub said:
“Employers have had a tough couple of years due to sickness absences and furlough. However, some businesses have been able to maintain or even improve their investment in staff and, with skills shortages at a peak, there has never been a better time to celebrate those companies that have overcome challenges and continued to develop their teams.”
If your business can demonstrate a culture of skills development, and how the acquisition of new skills and training has led to improvements, then this category is for you. The criteria focus on businesses who have integrated skills development into their business planning, while also assessing how a business identifies and nurtures the talent within their team or the local community.
If you have never applied for an award before we are here to help with top tips webinar, and the team on our webchat to answer any questions should you have them.”
